Access groups

Group Management

Define to which ships, report types etc access should be granted

Groups are managed by defining to which objects access should be possible. This could be ships, report types, questionnaires (templates), or status of an inspection, just to name the most important ones.
In the section Group Definition all objects are listed.

Create Groups

Click Create New Group button. Enter name of new group and save. For example we want to create a group called vetting inspections. The objects that belong to this group are SIRE and CDI inspections. Though we click in the box report type the Change button.
In the window that opens we doubleclick report type.

Inthe window that opens now we click on Select by list

Form the list we select CDI and than SIRE

Click save.

Master Group Mangement

Combine Access groups to Master Groups

Create a Master Group by clicking on the button Creat Master group. Assign previously defined groups to the master group by dragging and droping Groups as described above into the desired level. Click save.
To edit existing Master groups select the desired group from thedrop down menu and edit an save.
