Recommended sequence of activities

For a proper implementation of 3D the following steps should be executed:

  1. First installation
  2. Login
  3. Setup of SIRE shared folder
  4. Setup of DocumentManagement Directory
  5. Ensure that SIRE shared folder and Document folder is backed up regularly
  6. Setup of Table Ships and Table Responsible
  7. Review the table Causes. If you have a list of causes that you would like to use pls contact us.
  8. Get access to OCIMF’s SIRE Reports as xml
  9. Import existing xml Reports from CDI and SIRE websites
  10. Define all 3D users in your organisation. Review their Acces Rights.
  11. Install at all required workstations. Connect workstations to SIRE shared folder as described under step 3.
  12. Review training needs and contact regarding this.
  13. If you want to exchange data with ships (e.g. entry of reports by ship) download InfoPath forms from Chemserve and update secondary data sources
